Naprapathy was founded in the early 1900s by Dr. OakleySmith. Naprapathic care focuses on the evaluation and treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, with an emphasis on stretching the underlying ligaments and connective tissue.
Naprapathy is a branch of manual medicine that focuses on the evaluation, manipulation, and therapeutic treatment of connective tissue disorders through soft tissue manipulation, nutritional counseling, and therapeutic modalities. By restoring the body’s own healing ability and improving mobility, Naprapathic treatment leaves the connective tissue in balance.
The way Naprapathic technique treats musculoskeletal problems includes soft tissue manipulation and therapeutic exercise. It releases the tension of extraordinarily hardened and contracted muscles, ligaments and tendons, which usually comes from hard working or accidents. The goal of the treatment is to restore optimal movements and proper functions of the body, and release pain coming from abnormally rigid part of the body.
